Crabtree Farms has been serving the greater Chattanooga area since 1998. Living up to its core values, they have been fostering a healthier, stronger, and more equitable community through its multifaceted initiatives by providing fresh produce, contributing to educational programs, facilitating outreach events and continuing their commitment to environmental stewardship.
In their 25th year of farming, feeding, learning, progressing and community building, they are inviting everyone to come and celebrate this momentous day on Saturday, November 4th from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
Here’s what’s in store for you:
- Tree planting
- Yard games and kids activities
- Tractor rides
- Unveiling of the community mosaic created by Jessie Bean [Bean and Bailey Ceramics]
- Live music and performance by the Pop-Up Project’s Youth program
The evening will culminate with a potluck and bonfire. Cider, chili and carrot cake from Poppyton’s Patisserie will be served. Just bring sides and fixin’s to share.
If you wish to give a gift, the folks at the farm made a birthday list to support their field trips, cooking classes, Urban and Greenhouse, garden beds and other local service opportunities.
