This Thanksgiving season, Chattanoogans are trading in their turkey nap for a pair of running shoes at the Chattanooga Hungry Turkey Run. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or somewhere in between, it’s a fun and healthy way to burn off those calories while supporting a good cause.
Scheduled for November 25 at Coolidge Park, this event offers a variety of distances—5K, 10K, and half marathon—to cater to all fitness levels. Registration starts at $60 and will support the Girls on the Run organization.
Participants can look forward to more than just a run, with highlights including fresh donuts at the finish line, a stylish long-sleeve technical shirt for every registrant, and a new 2023 finisher medal. Aid stations and bathrooms every 1.5 miles are available to ensure a comfortable run.
For added convenience, early packet pick-up is available on November 24th at Fleet Feet Chattanooga between 3pm to 6pm, while race day pick-up is near the Rhino on Chattanooga Theatre from 6am to 8am.
Get ready and lace up those sneakers. Join in the tradition of gobbling, jogging, and repeating.
