Thrive Regional Partnership has recently joined the Coalition of Hip Hideaways, marking a significant stride towards responsible growth in the Greater Chattanooga area. This initiative connects Southeast Tennessee, Northwest Georgia, and Northeast Alabama with other flourishing regions like Colorado Springs, Northwest Arkansas and Missoula Montana, to promote livability and enhance development. 

For Chattanooga, this means showcasing its vibrant manufacturing sector and other appealing aspects that make it an attractive place to live and work. Rhett Bentley, Chief Communication Officer of Thrive, emphasizes the campaign’s dual goals of attracting new residents and inspiring local planners to foster sustainable growth.

By implementing a proactive approach, inspired by Harvard professor Rosabeth Moss Kanter’s quote about community-driven change, it will allow regions to guide their development, benefit from shared knowledge and strategies while maintaining their unique character and preserving their regional identity.
