The Association for Visual Arts (AVA) has organized a creative showcase for 50 local artists to display and sell their artwork on October 19 – 20 at the Coolidge Park from 10:00AM to 5:00PM. Festival goers can also explore the exclusive SCCA Potter’s Alley where its 15 members will present their unique ceramic pieces.
Aside from the exhibit, the park will have the 7 Bridges Marathon on Sunday where participants will cross 4 bridges downtown and 3 “upgraded” bridges on the North Chick Greenway. Visitors, on the other hand, can enjoy carousel rides, try local food from onsite vendors, and browse handmade crafts while soaking in live DJ entertainment.
With its combination of art, family-friendly activities and community events, this free-to-attend festival is the perfect way to support local talent and immerse in Chattanooga’s thriving art scene.
