A new mixed-use development is coming to East Chattanooga which will bring fresh energy and opportunities for both businesses and residents. This exciting project located at 2659 Glass Street will be spearheaded by Nashville developer Michael Kenner, and will feature four residential units above a vibrant 1,800-square-foot commercial space. Kyle Jacobson, the landscape architect, emphasized that the ground-level retail spaces will create a lively, pedestrian-friendly atmosphere along the Glass Street corridor to help revitalize the neighborhood and enhance local commerce.
With its blend of residential and commercial spaces, this project aims to bring more foot traffic that will benefit nearby businesses and highlight the entire area. The inclusion of seven rear parking spaces provides convenient access for both residents and visitors while making the location accessible and welcoming. This development is expected to boost local economic growth, attract more residents and align with East Chattanooga’s ongoing transformation.
