A longtime Chattanooga favorite is growing. Mr. T’s Pizza & Ice Cream, a staple in St. Elmo since 1989, is opening a new location. Now led by father-and-son team Eddy and Jackson Hilger, the restaurant continues the legacy started by Tyler “Mr. T,” blending tradition with a fresh, family-driven energy. Grand opening festivities will include a free large pizza and a limited edition shirt for the first 250 customers. The celebration continues on April 24 with 10 percent of sales going to the Austin Hatcher Foundation, followed by free ice cream scoop for every customer on April 25, plus family-friendly activities throughout the weekend.

While pizza and ice cream may be in the name, there’s plenty more to explore. From crispy Buffalo wings and cheesy breadsticks to fresh salads and hearty sandwiches like the Italian Supreme and grilled chicken, the menu offers something for every craving. It’s also a go-to for convenience, with delivery, online ordering, and catering available for everything from casual dinners to large events. Whether you’ve been visiting for years or trying it for the first time, the new spot brings the same welcoming feel and crowd-pleasing dishes locals already love.
