Ready to see a side of Chattanooga most people never get to experience? The guided eco tours launched on June 20 will continue to give visitors a chance to step onto one of Scenic City’s most fascinating natural spaces. Hosted by the Chattanooga Audubon Society in partnership with Chattanooga Riverboat Co., the boat  ride will start  from the Southern Belle dock before heading to the island for an up-close look at its wildlife, native plants, and conservation efforts.

During the tour, guides are sharing stories about the island’s history while highlighting the work being done to protect its ecosystem. Guests can spot local wildlife, learn about native habitats, and even meet the island’s famous goat crew, which helps control invasive plant species naturally. It’s a fun and educational outing for families, nature lovers, and anyone looking for a different way to immerse in outdoor adventure. Best of all, a portion of every ticket sold helps support ongoing conservation work on the island.
