Hidden inside a restored car dealership along Chattanooga’s riverfront, the Riverfront Distillery is where Chattanooga Whiskey produces its Tennessee High Malt whiskey. Open since 2017, the 46,000-square-foot facility features a custom copper still, a heated barrelhouse with more than 4,500 aging barrels, and a massive 4,000-gallon Solera barrel that plays a key role in creating the signature flavor of Chattanooga Whiskey 91. Using the traditional solera method, whiskey from barrels of different ages and char levels is blended together, resulting in a rich and balanced spirit that continues to evolve over time.

Visitors can get an inside look at the process through the reservation-only Full Proof Tour, a two-hour experience that follows the journey from grain to glass. Guests can explore the production floor, walk through the barrelhouse, sample single-barrel whiskeys, enjoy a pour straight from the Solera barrel, and pair their tasting with light snacks and chocolate. Exclusive Solera Full Proof whiskey is also available for purchase, with the option to fill your own bottle directly from the barrel for a truly memorable Chattanooga whiskey experience.
