Chattanooga’s Southside is preparing for a major transformation. Developers recently broke ground on Station 33, a $130 million mixed-use development planned for a five-acre site at South Broad and 33rd streets. The vision started three years ago with nearly 500,000 square feet which includes retail and office space, residential condos, food hall, pedestrian plaza, a boutique-style hotel, and community-focused amenities like a shared courtyard, splash pad, and green space. City leaders are also calling it the first true large-scale infill project in the city, bringing new life to land that was previously developed instead of expanding into undeveloped areas.
Moreover, the project will connect directly to the Tennessee Riverwalk and sit near Erlanger Park, creating a walkable hub where people can live, work, dine, and gather. Construction on the first four buildings is expected to be completed by fall 2028, marking another milestone in the continued growth of Chattanooga’s Southside.
