Fall takes on a little extra magic as the Enchanted Pumpkin Patch showcase more than 1,000 pumpkins that will light up the gardens after dark, joined by larger hand-carved displays, live brass musicians, roaming characters, and the new Cursed Cauldron, an interactive drink station where guests can create their own glowing potions. During the day, visitors can take in the changing leaves and Lookout Mountain views while enjoying returning favorites such as pumpkin painting, Appalachian folk music, and fresh kettle corn. 

Much of the charm comes from the creativity behind the displays of Rock City’s Innovations Team, along with contracted performers and artisans, hand-built sculptures and lanterns throughout the trails. The result is a spooky-but-family-friendly setting where kids can enjoy fog, glowing jack-o’-lanterns, and playful scarecrows without the scary stuff. With bigger installations, new seasonal plantings, and an extra week added after last year’s successful debut, this year’s event has even more to explore. Try some hot apple cider, cross the Swing-A-Long Bridge, and take in the fall scenery for a memorable experience.
