Construction has officially begun on the $98 million patient tower at Parkridge Medical Center—a transformative project poised to enhance healthcare access within the area. This major expansion, one of the largest in the system’s history, will add new intensive care and medical-surgical rooms that will boost both patient capacity and care quality. “This new patient tower will enable us to serve more patients and continue to provide exceptional care in our community,” said Chris Cosby, Parkridge’s CEO. With a projected completion date in 2026, this initiative reflects their commitment to meeting Chattanooga’s evolving healthcare needs.

In the past four years, Parkridge has made strategic investments totaling over $50 million to expand its footprint and improve specialized services. Recent developments include the Parkridge Camp Jordan ER ($16M), Parkridge Soddy-Daisy ER ($17M), and the Parkridge Mental Health Therapy Center. This does not only demonstrate the system’s ongoing growth but also its mission to bring timely, accessible, and comprehensive care to underserved areas.  It is more than just a new building but a symbol of a healthier future for everyone.
