With spring break and summer quickly approaching, parents are already looking ahead to secure meaningful activities for their kids. Families are encouraged to register early or activate a membership to secure slots. Camps accommodate from pre-kindergarten through high school and provide hands-on learning through animal encounters, behind-the-scenes experiences, games, crafts, select off-campus field trips and other general-interest themes.
New this year, all camps will be headquartered in the S.T.R.E.A.M. Learning Center with streamlined drop-off and pick-up plus closer access to the River and Ocean Journey buildings. Spring camp sessions for ages 5–9 align with Hamilton County school breaks, followed by a full lineup of weekly summer camps starting June to early August. Among the programs being offered are Tennessee Treasures and Ancient Animals, specialty options like Nature Detectives and overnight Nocturnal Wonders, not to forget the Tiny Tides and Nature Nuts which are designed for younger campers and first-time participants.
