Chattanooga’s first Community Resource Hub is officially opening at the East Lake Community Center, creating a single location where residents can access educational programs, health and wellness resources, workforce development opportunities, financial assistance, and family support services. The goal is simple: make it easier for people to find the help they need without having to visit multiple offices across the city.
The East Lake hub is the first of six Community Resource Hubs planned throughout Scenic City. To celebrate the opening, there is a free community event happening which highlights the ribbon-cutting ceremony, tour of the new space, local partner organizations, vendors, food, music, and family-friendly activities. Community groups and service providers are also invited to participate as vendors.
